  • Full bench of a Court is a major step but it is not a cure for all the problems facing the judiciary and all the pending cases. • This includes the potential for creating specialized benches to handle specific types of cases which, which can enhance judicial expertise. More judges need corresponding increase in courtrooms, staff, and technology support.
    • The cycle of retirements. The Supreme Court several retirements each year, which means the process of appointments must be continuous which will prevent the sanctioned strength from falling again. A more transparent appointment mechanism is necessary to ensure that the Court remains at its full strength consistently.
