The High Court of Telangana passed a judgment on 10 March, 2023 stating that If the petitioner is aggrieved by opening of suspect sheet, he is at liberty to invoke the same by appropriating legal remedy. It was stated in the case of Mr. Banoth Raj Kumarlambada Raj vs The State Of Telengana (WRIT PETITION No.6613 OF 2023) which was passed by the single judge bench comprising of Hon’ble Justice B.Vijaysen Reddy
FACTS OF THE CASE:
The writ petition was filed seeking to declare action of respondent No.4 – Station House Officer, Lingampet Police Station in calling the petitioner to the Police Station without any crime or G.D. entry, as illegal and arbitrary.
JUDGEMENT OF THE CASE
The writ petition is disposed of as no further orders are required to be passed. If the petitioner is aggrieved by opening of suspect sheet, he is at liberty to invoke the same by appropriating legal remedy. A copy of the written instructions is served on the learned counsel for the petitioner.
